Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aptolix platform and related websites (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using Aptolix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Using the Platform
   • The Platform is offered to individuals and organizations to build and operate AI chatbots. You must be 18 or older to use the Platform.
   • You agree to use Aptolix lawfully and not to upload or process content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or violates our content rules (including sensitive personal data where prohibited).
   • Certain advanced features or custom engagements may be governed by separate written agreements.
2. Accounts & access
   • You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding credentials.
   • Account holders are responsible for activity on their account. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized use.
   • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.
3. Subscriptions & payments
   • Aptolix is primarily subscription-based. Subscription details (fees, billing period, usage limits) are described at purchase.
   • Payments are processed via trusted third-party payment providers. You are responsible for accurate billing information and timely payment.
   • Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy (see refund-policy.html).
4. Content & intellectual property
   • You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform. By uploading, you grant Aptolix a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of providing the Platform and related services.
   • All platform code, branding, and documentation remain Aptolix property (or our licensors). You may not copy, modify, resell, or reverse-engineer the Platform without express permission.
5. Privacy & data handling

   We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy (see privacy.html). By using the Platform you consent to the processing described in that policy.

6. Third-party services
   • The Platform integrates with third-party services (e.g., AI providers like OpenAI, hosting providers, analytics and payment processors). Your use of such services may be subject to those providers’ terms.
   • Aptolix is not responsible for third-party availability, performance, or policies.
7. Service availability
   • We strive to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or emergency actions that temporarily affect service.
   • We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves; where possible we will provide notice to account holders for material changes.
8. Limitation of liability

   To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aptolix and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the Platform services in the 12 months preceding the claim (or a lesser amount required by applicable law).

9. Termination
   • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Termination does not automatically remove content unless you request deletion; we will act in accordance with the Privacy Policy regarding retained or deleted data.
   • We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or for misuse of the Platform.
10. Governing law & changes

    These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to Aptolix as described at the point of purchase. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated to account holders and posted on our site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
